  • Statewide Keystone Graduation Requirements

    Senate Bill 1095, which was signed into law by Governor Tom Wolf on October 24, 2018, shifts Pennsylvania’s reliance on high stakes testing as a graduation requirement to provide alternatives for high school students to demonstrate readiness for postsecondary success. The statewide graduation requirement takes effect for the graduating class of 2022.

  • AP® Computer Science Female Diversity Award

    College Board’s AP® Computer Science Female Diversity Award recognizes schools that are closing the gender gap and engaging more female students in computer science coursework. Out of more than 18,000 secondary schools worldwide that offer AP courses, only 685 have achieved this important result.

    The AP District Honor Roll recognizes school districts committed to increasing access to AP for underrepresented students while simultaneously maintaining or increasing the percentage of students earning AP Exam scores of 3 or higher.     The U.S. News Best High Schools rankings include data on more than 23,000 public high schools in 50 states and the District of Columbia. More than 17,000 schools were ranked on six factors based on their performance on state assessments and how well they prepare students for college.
