Dear Saucon Valley Community,
At the heart of Saucon Valley School District’s mission is the pursuit of excellence in education. As superintendent, I am deeply honored to serve our students, schools, and the greater community, and I am deeply committed to achieving excellence in everything we do. This commitment stems from my belief that every student deserves the very best opportunities to learn, grow, and thrive. To me, excellence means more than achieving high standards—it means equipping our students with the skills, confidence, and resilience to boldly face the future and to make meaningful contributions to the world around them.
Saucon Valley School District believes in the power of education to transform lives and communities. It is my responsibility to ensure each member of our school community provides a safe and supportive environment, where our students can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. When we commit ourselves to being deeply connected, genuinely compassionate, and truly understanding, we create the foundation our students need to pursue excellence with confidence. I, along with my administration, am unwavering in our commitment to uphold high standards of academic excellence and character development. Get to Know Your Superintendent
Jaime L. Vlasaty is an accomplished educational leader with a demonstrated record of advancing student achievement through strategic leadership, instructional excellence and a steadfast approach to inclusive practices. She has served the Saucon Valley School District since 2018, progressing through the roles of Director of Special Education, Assistant Superintendent and Acting Superintendent before being appointed Superintendent of Schools. Her leadership reflects deep institutional knowledge and a student-centered, systems-driven approach.
Education
Ms. Vlasaty holds a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from Lehigh University and a Bachelor of Science in Education from Kutztown University. She is certified as a K–12 Principal and K–12 Supervisor of Special Education, with instructional certifications in Special Education (K–12) and Elementary Education (K–6).
Professional Experience
Prior to her service in Saucon Valley, Ms. Vlasaty served in district-level leadership roles in Easton Area School District, where she was most recently the Director of Special Education. In that role, she oversaw compliance with federal and state regulations; managed multi-million-dollar budgets; and led professional development for administrators, teachers and paraprofessionals. Earlier in her career, she served as a Supervisor of Special Education, Gifted Facilitator, Learning Support Teacher and Educational Consultant. In these roles, Ms. Vlasaty gained broad experience in instructional leadership, program development and regulatory compliance.
