2024-25 Kindergarten Registration Information
Welcome to Saucon Valley!
We are happy to welcome the class of 2037 to our Saucon family!
This is certainly an exciting time for you and your child as they prepare to embark on their Kindergarten journey!
Registering for Kindergarten
Kindergarten Registration will be available on InfoSnap starting on February 22, 2024. Registration is online only and can be found by clicking HERE . For a list of required documents, please see the link under "Registration Reminders." Additional information will be forthcoming over the summer for the 2024-25 school year. If you have any questions or problems with regards to registration, please contact, Kathleen Prindible, at Kathleen.Prindible@svpanthers.org.
In order to be enrolled in Kindergarten, your child must be five years old on or before September 1, 2024. There can be exceptions up to thirty (30) days after this deadline. Please see the SV Board policy HERE. Parents wishing to request the exception as listed in the SV Board policy MUST attend the Kindergarten Screening Event in May.
Please click HERE for a list of required documents needed during registration. These documents can be scanned and uploaded as a part of the online registration. It is often helpful to begin securing as many of these as possible before the online registration portal opens.
Screening Event Schedule
A Kindergarten Screening Event will take place on May 13th and 14th for all incoming Kindergarten students. More information will follow, including how to sign-up for the Screening Event.
Summer SAIL Program
To assist with you and your child's transition from community or home education care into Kindergarten, the Saucon Valley School District, along with a partnership with Lehigh University, will offer a Summer Academy for Incoming Learners (SAIL). The academy will be structured to help your child with school readiness, both social and academic, and will be held July 15th - 25th (Monday-Thursday) from 9am to 11am at Saucon Valley Elementary School. There is no charge for this academy and attendance is voluntary. We are able to accept 60 incoming Kindergartners for this program and acceptance is first come - first serve (a sign-up link will be sent to registered Kindergarten students' parents). For more information, please contact the Assistant Principal, Thomas Halcisak.
If you have any questions regarding the Kindergarten Registration/Screening process, please contact the Principal, Amy Braxmeier.
