Grab & Go Breakfast

Free / No Cost

An optional program designed to give students a quick, nutritious start to their academic day. The breakfast program is structured around four foundational components:

  • Milk: Choice of low-fat white, skim or choice variety flavored milks.
  • Fruits & Vegetables: Assorted fresh whole fruits and 100% fruit juices.
  • Whole Grains: Whole-grain options including cereal bars, prepared bagels, and cold cereals.
  • Proteins & Main Entrées: Daily selections such as breakfast sandwiches, hot pancakes, fresh muffins, yogurt, or egg alternatives.

⚠️ Program Rule: Students must select at least three (3) out of the four available items to qualify as a free program meal. At least one (1) of those choices must be a fruit or vegetable.

"Offer Versus Serve" Lunch

Federally Monitored Program

Meals are engineered to provide 1/3 of the Recommended Daily Allowance (RDA) of protein, Vitamin A, Vitamin C, iron, calcium and caloric benchmarks. Five key food components are offered daily:

  • Meat & Meat Alternatives
  • Whole Grains & Bread
  • Fruit
  • Vegetables
  • Milk Selection: Choice of low-fat white, skim, or choice variety flavored milks.

⚠️ Program Rule: Students are encouraged to take all five items, but must choose at least three (3) out of five components to clear the tray as a program meal. One choice must be a fruit or vegetable, or items will be charged individual ala carte rates.
