HELLERTOWN, PA  – The Saucon Valley School District is accepting letters of interest from qualified residents interested in filling a vacancy on the Saucon Valley School Board.

The individual selected will be sworn in to serve from September 2026 to December 2027.

ELIGIBILITY

Applicants must:

Be at least 18 years of age;

Be a current resident of the Saucon Valley School District; and

Have maintained residency within the district for at least one year.

HOW TO APPLY

Interested applicants must submit a letter of interest to Board Secretary Wendy Weeast by 12 p.m. Friday, September 11, 2026. Candidates may also include a resume, but it is not required.

Applications must be submitted electronically or delivered in person to the Saucon Valley School District during normal business operating hours. Applications should be submitted to:

At the September 15 Special Meeting, each candidate will have up to five minutes to introduce themselves and explain why they are seeking to fulfill the vacancy on the School Board.

Following candidate introductions, the School Board will engage in a question-and-answer session.
