Elementary Music
General Music, Chorus & Band | Grades K–4
General Music
- Students are on a six-day cycle schedule
- Students attend music twice per cycle (approximately every three days)
- The focus is on rhythm, melody, movement, listening and creative expression
- Curriculum is sequential, and instruction is developmentally appropriate.
Elementary music is taught by Emily Aragona-Young and provides a strong foundation in musical literacy and performance readiness.
Chorus (Grades 3 & 4)
- Open to all interested third- and fourth-grade students
- Two performances annually (Winter & Spring)
- Focus on vocal technique, ensemble skills and stage presence

4th Grade Band
- Instrumental instruction begins in fourth grade
- Emphasis on technique, music reading and ensemble development
- Performs in the Spring Concert
