iPad Guidelines, Insurance and Payments

Replacement items not covered by iPad insurance and replacement costs. Charges will be added the student's Powerschool Account.

iPad insurance is offered to students in grade 5 to 12.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

SVSD Insurance coverage is available for students (Grade 5 to 12) to cover replacement of the iPad in the event of reasonable accidental damage. The policy will not cover theft or loss of the iPad or the iPad accessories (charger cord, block, case).

Non-insured iPad replacement: $249

Insured iPad per incident deductible: $100

The SVSD insurance plan for the iPad does not cover damage that is determined to be the result of negligent use or treatment, nor does it cover outright loss of the iPad. MALICIOUS DAMAGE IS NOT COVERED UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.

The SVSD Insurance plan covers TWO CLAIMS per school year.

The SVSD issued iPad must remain in the district issued case with its cover(if equipped) to remain covered by this insurance.

PREMIUM

Annual Academic Year Fee - $24.00 per student

If you are choosing to Opt In to the SV iPad insurance, payment must be made either using the on-line portal (with no added fee) or submitting a check/money order to the office written to Saucon Valley School District. 

Payment for iPad insurance is open and is due by 9/13/2024. New students will have 10 school days from the student's start date to opt-in to insurance.

How to use the on-line payment portal.

• Visit the SV RevTrak Payment Portal
• If you have an existing RevTrak account you may login, if not create a RevTrak account. This account can be used to pay for multiple children and for future purchases.
• Add the appropriate insurance item to the cart, repeat for additional children.
• When complete you can go to checkout and make payment. 
• You will receive an email receipt.

If a student owes money for an iPad, deductible or accessory follow the directions below to make a payment.

Check or Money Order Payment
Submit a check for the amount and submit it to the office. Please include the student's name on the check.
