Saucon Valley High School is proud to share that one of our own recently represented the district through a special STEM outreach opportunity.
Saucon Valley Junior Zara Ortiz visited the Lehman School District to present on their personal journey in STEM. The invitation came from Sandra Hartman, an educator who connected with Zara at the PETE & C conference. What began as a professional connection grew into a meaningful opportunity to inspire students outside of Saucon Valley.
During the visit, Zara interacted with four different student groups and says she, too, learned a lot!
Ms. Hartman also created a video highlighting Zara's visit.
We are grateful for the warm welcome from Lehman School District and for the teacher's warm invite, which gave Zara the opportunity to highlight her passion and skills.
