Saucon Valley Marching Band Dominates Final Local Competition, Prepares for Championships

The Saucon Valley High School Marching Band earns top honors in a local competition and celebrates Halloween. Missed the events? You can still catch the band in action!

HELLERTOWN, Pa. — The Saucon Valley Marching Band capped off their local competition season in spectacular fashion on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at Whitehall High School. The band swept first place in every category within their division, earning top honors for High Music, High Overall Effect, 1st place Percussion, 1st place Color Guard and 1st place overall.

With this strong performance, the band currently holds 2nd place in the entire Cavalcade American A division, trailing the first-place team by just 0.5 points.

This week, the band takes the field for the varsity football team’s home playoff game on Thursday, October 30. They will also present a preview of their show for the public at 5:30 p.m. Friday, October 31 in Saucon Valley’s Montford E. Illick Stadium.

Friends, family, and fans are invited to come out and cheer on the Panthers in their final performance at home before heading to the championships.

The band will compete at the Cavalcade Championships on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at Dallastown High School, with their performance scheduled for 6:15 p.m.
