Saucon Valley Indoor Percussion Takes Top Honors at Catasauqua

 

Lehigh County, PA -- The Saucon Valley Indoor Percussion Ensemble (SVIPE) delivered a standout performance this past weekend that secured them the top spot on the podium.

On Saturday, March 28, the ensemble traveled to Catasauqua High School to face off against regional talent. Demonstrating precision and artistry, SVIPE earned first place in their division with an impressive score of 69.8.

Dedication Behind the Music

This victory is a testament to the rigorous preparation the students have undergone. Beyond simply playing notes, the ensemble has been immersed in:

  • Team Collaboration: Working synchronously to blend sound and visual elements into a cohesive performance.

The momentum doesn't stop here. SVIPE is already back in the rehearsal room preparing for their next appearance. Supporters can catch the ensemble in action on Saturday, April 11, as they head to Salisbury High School for their next competition.
