The cheer team gets together for a photo following its third place achievement back in October.

Saucon Valley School District is excited and proud to announce the competitive cheerleading team is headed to states.

Hellertown, PA -- The Saucon Valley High School competitive cheerleading team is headed to the PIAA State Championships following their strong performance at the District 11 Championships held January 3, 2026, at Easton Area Middle School.

After competing in the 2A Small division, Saucon Valley earned a second-place finish. This accomplishment secured the runner-up title and qualified the team for states. The team’s success at districts highlights its productive and successful season to date.

The PIAA State Cheerleading Championships will take place January 9 and 10, 2026, at the 1st Summit Arena in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. Saucon Valley will compete on January 9 against 23 teams in the 2A Small division. With a clean routine, the Panthers are hopeful to advance to the semifinal round, with the opportunity to move on to the finals.

The Saucon Valley community will send off the cheer team at noon January 8, 2026, at Saucon Valley High School.
