Hellertown, PA -- Saucon Valley Elementary School wants to share a huge thank you to the families and teachers who took part in our activities! It was a wonderful evening filled with learning and luau-style fun.

We kicked off the evening with an opening presentation, and families learned more about our Title I status.

A cafeteria full of families, children and teachers participating in math and reading activities

Throughout the night, students and families had the opportunity to rotate through a variety of interactive math and literacy stations in the cafeteria. These hands-on activities were led by our dedicated teachers and were intentionally designed to connect school learning to activities families can continue at home. Here is one resource families can use at home. Additionally, the flashcards -- which families seemed to really enjoy -- are another resource designed to be used at home.

As students visited the various stations, they completed their Learning Luau Passports, which they turned in to earn a prize to take home.

Mrs. Lemay hosted the Book Fair in the LGI throughout the evening, and it was great to see so many browsing for your next favorite read.

It's nights like these that make Saucon Valley Elementary School such a special place to work and learn.
