SVES Creates a Tidal Wave of Kindness with Successful Polar Pop Fundraiser

Hellertown, PA -- Last Friday, SVES held its Second Annual Polar Pop, and thanks to the generosity of the entire school community, the school raised over $1,800 for the Special Olympics. That is more than double last year's amount.

In total, more than 40 teachers, support staff and administrators bravely volunteered to get soaked -- via water balloons and water cups -- for a great cause.

“It is absolutely incredible to see the giving power of the school,” said Principal Amy Braxmeier during an interview.

A huge shout-out to all of the teachers, staff, students, and families who helped make this fundraiser such a tremendous success. Mrs. Braxmeier says, "Your enthusiasm, participation and support demonstrated the power of our Panther community."

This event was a reminder when the SVES community comes together, amazing things can be accomplished.

Well done, SVES... well done!
