Hershey, PA -- This past weekend, Saucon Valley Middle School band and choir students traveled to "the sweetest place on Earth." Their Hershey trip was filled with music, teamwork and memorable experiences.
Students represented Saucon Valley well on and off the stage.
Our student musicians earned outstanding ratings across every ensemble performance.
- Saucon Valley Jazz Band — Excellent (88.00)
- Saucon Valley 5/6 Band — Excellent (83.75)
- Saucon Valley 7/8 Band — Superior (91.00)
- Saucon Valley Handbell Choir — Superior (92.50)
- Saucon Valley Camerata Choir — Superior (90.75)
- Saucon Valley MS Choir — Excellent (88.75)
In addition to the ensemble accomplishments, student musician Cyrus Matthews received two individual honors: Overall Middle School Vocalist Award and Overall Middle School Jazz Soloist Award.
Congratulations all of our student performers who took part, and thank you as well to the staff members, chaperones and families whose support helped make the trip such a success.
