Three Saucon Valley High School choir students have earned spots in the prestigious District Choir, a highly competitive honor that recognizes outstanding vocal talent.

The event will take place in January at Berks Catholic High School.

The students — Ryan Pakzad, Brandon Shaffer and Agostino Randazzo — have already begun preparing for Districts as well as their upcoming audition for Regionals.

District Choir is known for its rigorous selection process, and having three students accepted from a single school is a significant achievement.

Ryan Pakzad, who sings Tenor 1, placed first and is the reigning state champion in his category.

Brandon Shaffer earned fifth place in Bass 2, and Agostino Randazzo secured 26th place in Bass 2.

“The dedication, talent and hard work of these students is incredible,” said choir director Lauren Sakasitz. “I feel so lucky to work with them — I could brag about them all day!”

This accomplishment highlights the exceptional music program at Saucon Valley High School and the commitment of its students to artistic excellence.
