Federal Programs
Federal Title Programs
Federal Title programs provide supplemental funding to support student achievement, educator effectiveness, language development and student wellness. These programs help ensure all students have access to high-quality educational opportunities.
Title I
Title I is a 100% federally funded supplemental education program that provides financial assistance to local educational agencies (LEAs) to improve educational opportunities for educationally deprived children. Title I programs help children meet state content and performance standards in reading, language arts and mathematics.
SVSD uses these funds to support staffing, including two reading specialists at Saucon Valley Elementary School, which is designated as a Title I Schoolwide Program.
Title I Resources
