• Board Meetings

The Saucon Valley School District will transition all School Board meetings to in person effective March 23, 2021.  Board meetings will be held in the Saucon Valley High School Auditorium beginning at 7:00 pm.  Community members attending in person should enter the high school via the Polk Valley Road flag pole entrance (Door 21).  All School Board meetings will be livestreamed via the District’s YouTube channel. A link to the District’s livestream of the Board meetings is available on the District’s website.

During the meetings, the district will follow applicable health and safety mitigation measures as required by the Pennsylvania Department of Health and the Governor’s office.  Such measures will include social distancing and appropriate face coverings. Individuals wishing to speak at a Board meeting may do so during Courtesy of the Floor to Visitors on agenda items only or during Citizens’ Inquiries or Comments consistent with Policy 903.

Individuals unable to attend in person may submit comments via the link below to be read at the meeting by Mr. David Bonenberger, Board Secretary.  Comments should be sent to Public Comment Request Form by 12:00 noon the day of the meeting. Mr. Bonenberger shall read the comment for up to three minutes. The full comment shall be reflected in the minutes.

For agenda items added during the meeting, the board will add such an item to the agenda but shall not take any action on an added item until at least fifteen minutes have passed to allow comments to be addressed to Mr. Bonenberger on the added item.

    Committee Meetings

Committee meetings have also changed to in person meetings.  Facilities, Finance, and Academic and Personnel meetings begin at 5:00 pm in the Saucon Valley High School Audion.  The capacity of the Audion is limited given COVID restrictions.  The district will follow social distancing guidelines and all persons attending will be required to observe face covering protocols.  The district will provide overflow rooms should the capacity of the Audion be surpassed.  The meeting will be livestreamed to those classrooms.  Individuals wishing to speak at a Committee meeting may do so during Courtesy of the Floor to Visitors on agenda items only or during Citizens’ Inquiries or Comments.

  • On March 9, 2021 the Saucon Valley School District Board of Directors approved two make up days for the snow days incurred this year due to inclement weather.  As you may recall, snow days were built into the 2020 - 2021 calendar.  The two make up days listed below are needed to fulfill state requirements in addition to the allotment of snow days already used throughout the year.  As always, we appreciate your support.

  • Welcome New Student Registrants and Families to the Saucon Valley School District.  We are pleased you have chosen our district for your child's education.
We are currently operating under a Blended Instructional Model meaning we have some students attending five days per week for in-person instruction and other students receiving remote instruction five days per week.  You will likely be placed in remote instruction as a new registrant to the Saucon Valley School District.  Space and capacity for in-person classrooms, in most cases is near or at capacity due to our steadfast mission to adhere to all CDC guidleines regarding social distancing.  When possible, we will admit students to in-person instruction provided there is available space in your child's grade level/course/classroom.
    Thank you and welcome!!!!!
