Saucon Valley's 21st century technology offers modern learning opportunities for all students. Saucon's students are being trained to utilize technology in all facets of their education. As students and staff have increasing thirst for technology the district must continue to implement the technology tools necessary to keep students and staff on a life long learning path for technology.
Saucon Valley School District's vision is to use technology to enhance the teaching and learning process in a manner that will lead to improving student achievement. To attain this goal we have established the following objectives:
  1. Standardization of technology curriculum and alignment of curriculum to state standards for grades K-12.
  2. Implement technology professional development programs to increase district staff competency levels in productivity applications and integration of technology into the curriculum.
  3. Establish television studio curriculum.
  4. Develop grades K-12 electronic portfolio system for student records.
  5. Increase access to student information for parents via the web.
  6. Develop after hours program for community in technology.
  7. Design a program to equip all teachers as well as all students grades 6-12 with laptop computers.
