The fitness components have been discussed and practiced daily. The students are encouraged to improve on their muscular strength and endurance at home and while in class. Tennis and golf have been squeezed in before the cold weather, and now we will move into racquetball, base running games, swimming, and badminton. All these activities improve cardirespiratory fitness and promote life long fitness.

Fitness and Lifetime activities
The juniors and seniors are working in the gymnasium and outside on the courts.
They have been developing flexibility and strength, and continuing to work on their cardio-respiratory endurance. Pickleball was the game of the week. It is a lifetime activity, in which each student improved. Next we will be golfing. We will practice at school, and then take the skills to the driving range thanks to the Lehigh University staff.

Physical Education for 2014-2015
The junior and senior students will be testing their personal fitness level with sit ups, push ups, and running. The pacer test will be preformed to determine a baseline. The intentions are to improve individual levels of fitness throughout the next 9 weeks.
