Lifetime activities and fitness
A great cardio activity, as well as agility and reaction time improvement is found in the game of pickleball. It is played in many recreational facilities and can be played by all ages and abilities. The students look forward to this lifetime sport as a preparation to tennis (when the courts clear of ice and snow).

Fitness and Lifetime Activities
The students are continuing their development of strength and endurance by jogging, improving on the pacer/beep test and stretching. Eye hand coordination skills have be encouraged as we played a variety of ball, base, and batting games.
Volleyball at both the recreational level and a more competitive level prevailed for the week. Most of the students improved their skills while learning to bump, set, and serve. Movement is the key to make this game a lifelong, fun game.

With the start of spring sports, our students will be involved in the game of lacrosse. Catching, cradling, defending, and scoring will be the skills of the week.
We will also be welcoming a student teacher from ESU.
