Information Literacy for Lifelong Learners

The goal of the high school library is to assist students in becoming information literate citizens who think creatively, develop an interest in learning, and use information skillfully.

The library is open each school day from 7:30 to 3:30. In addition to a collection of 12,000 carefully selected volumes, students may access online databases, periodical indexes, and photo archives. The library teacher provides instruction in research skills, search strategy, Internet use, copyright issues, and format for citing sources and writing papers.
