The gifted program provides opportunities for identified students to develop skills for independent learning, to generate new ideas and projects, and to interact with their intellectual peers.

Identified gifted students will meet with the gifted resource teacher during scheduled meeting times. The gifted resource teacher will also be working with classroom teachers to extend the curriculum.

Emails will be sent to home regarding current projects, contests and deadlines.  Progress reports will be sent home with report cards to identify individual progress.

Ms. Hausman will call to schedule GIEP meetings throughout the year.
